Bald eagles in Delaware: Tell us about your sightings

Bald eagle

Bald eagles used to be so rare in the region that it was unusual to spot one, but these days they are found in all three counties.

If you've seen a bald eagle recently, pin the location on the map. Tell us when and where you saw the bird and what it was doing (resting in tree, feeding, flying). Include contact information if you wouldn't mind talking to a reporter. You also can upload a photo.

We'll be keeping track of eagle sightings over the next several weeks and will let you know where your friends and neighbors are spotting the highest concentration of birds.
