The Grammy-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member has been booked for a big Friday night concert at The Grand in Wilmington on June 27.

It will be a solo performance.

Tickets, which will cost $59.50-$74.50, go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. here, by calling (302) 652-5577 or in person at the theater's box office.

Costello is coming off last year's collaboration with The Roots on "Wise Up Ghost," a full-length album combining the English singer/songwriter with the Philadelphia hip-hop group, which also happens to be the house band of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

Costello is currently anchoring a "Basement Tapes"-era project using unfinished lyrics by Bob Dylan that were written in the late '60s during Dylan's time collaborating with The Band near Woodstock., N.Y.

Produced by T-Bone Burnett, a rootsy super-group made up of Costello, My Morning Jacket's Jim James, Mumford and Sons' Marcus Mumford, Dawes' Taylor Goldsmith and Rhiannon Giddens of Carolina Chocolate Drops are bringing the long-discarded songs to life.

A Showtime television special and an album is expected later this year.

Until then, Costello will be on the road, performing at legendary theaters like The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and Massey Hall in Toronto before his Delaware visit.
