Bear man named suspect in two armed robberies

Delaware State Police are asking for help in finding Joseph Klosowski, 31, of Bear, who is suspected of committing more than one armed robbery recently.

Police have a warrant for Klosowski’s arrest on a first-degree robbery charge for an armed robbery at the Exxon gas station at 4101 Concord Pike in Talleyville on Aug. 30.

Detectives have also linked him to an armed robbery at the Bank of America at 5215 Concord Pike in Brandywine Hundred on Tuesday. Police suspect that he was one of two men who committed that robbery.

Police describe Klosowski as being white, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. They say that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
