Insurer for wealthy now accepting Delaware members

Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange, an insurer catering to wealthy individuals and their families will begin accepting new members in Delaware.

The insurer, which operates under the acronym PURE, will accept the Delaware members through a partnership with Lyons Companies Private Client Services, an independent insurance brokerage firm headquartered in Wilmington.

PURE offers broad insurance plans with higher limits than typically offered by standard carriers, according to company information.

"We are excited about the opportunity to team with PURE to provide superior insurance and risk management services to high net worth individuals and families in Delaware," said Kevin Thomas, vice president of Lyons Private Client Services.
