One shot in leg in Wilmington

One person was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon in Wilmington, Sgt. Andrea Janvier of city police said.

She said the age and gender of the person are unknown at this time, as well as which leg the wound occurred in.

No scene has been located at this time, Janvier said, but West 28th Street was blocked off in the area of Washington Street.

Police will release more information as it becomes available, she said.
